Speedo

Speedo is a household name in the swimming community around the world. Founded in 1914 by hosiery manufacturer Alexander McRae, the name Speedo was adopted in 1928 along with the slogan Speed on in your Speedos. Since it’s beginning Speedo has been outfitting swimmers of all ages and ability levels. From recreational swimmers to Olympians Speedo has been the suit of choice. Speedo has come a long way since the traditional Speedo made its way on to Australian beaches.

 

Though there are many players in the swimming market today few have shown the fierce dedication to the sport that Speedo has. This dedication to the sport and its athletes has led to many revolutionary new products. Speedo’s commitment to producing top of the line racing suits has not taken away from their focus on training either. Speedo makes a wide variety of training suits from briefs and jammers for boys and superpros to flybacks for girls.
